"I first discovered Herb while researching experts in stuttering in the San Diego area. He immediately called me back and consulted with me on how to best help my son who had begun to stutter suddenly. I had seen several speech therapists for my kids over the years, including evaluations at Rady's and they weren't always the best experiences, mostly play and not a lot of help. We started seeing Herb and I was immediately surprised by how rigorous and yet fun the session were. He worked my son for a full hour, all in the form of creative play and exercises that he really enjoyed. He even started demanding to see Herb on his own! We saw a big improvement in his disfluency and articulation and learned from Herb how to carry on at home to continue to help support him. We're grateful to have him on our team!
