The San Diego Brian Injury Foundation will host its 16th annual Friendrasier on Saturday, September 24, 2016. Come enjoy a wonderful evening in a serene, natural setting with your friends of the Foundation. Art created by our own survivors will be featured along with live music, hors d’oeuvres, wine-tasting, a silent auction and shopping for unique gifts showcased by artists who are brain injury survivors. Also, an opportunity to star-gaze with members of the San Diego Astronomy Association will be provided. Music will be provided by Jeff & Herb.

In our private practice we work with many young people who stutter. We have a young man who has truly struggled to get each word out. I started working with him when he was about 9 years old, and my husband took over with him for the past year and a half. This story is a tribute to him, certainly one of our hardworking teen clients.
On April 28, 2012 we presented at the 3rd Annual Spring Conference of the San Diego Branch of the International Dyslexia Association - Dyslexia: Understanding and Interventions! at the Joan B. Kroc School of Peace Studies,
at the University of San Diego. Our presentation was: Understanding the Language-Reading Connection: How Speech-Language Pathology Can Support Literacy Success.
